Happy New Year!

I'd like to wish all VSO members a very Happy New Year. New Year 2018 is a brand new year to start afresh, to start strong, and yet another chance to do everything we want to do this year, especially when it concerns our best friends, our Vizslas. So, set some positive goals for you and your dog, whether it's to take a class on agility or obedience, enter a competition, teach your dog 10 new tricks, or trim their nails 2X a month. And please consider volunteering your time and/or expertise to the VSO, whether it's writing an article for the Voice, assisting at our Fun Day, helping plant birds at a field test, etc. Write your goals down and hang them where you can see them every day of the new year. And be excited for what you can achieve in 2018.

GIVE BACK and PAY IT FORWARD! Quite honestly, you get back what you put in and if you say you're not getting much out of the VSO, ask yourself, "what have I contributed to the club?" And volunteering is good for your health and I'm sure that's one of your goals for 2018 - get healthy an stay healthy.
