Directors
Caroline Davis
Director
I am a returning board member for my 3rd term.
I have been owned and loved by 3 vizslas since 2005 when I was first introduced to the breed. Two have sadly passed on but, there is still one presently running my house. I have been involved with the VSO as Director, Vice President, Awards Co-ordinators, Team Rescue, and now Membership director. I have also served on the Breeders’ Working Group in the past. I’ve done volunteer work for other non-profit organizations in the past (including many different positions for Community Care and Snow Country snowmobile association in District 6), office management work including accounting, and have some web management skills. My husband and I own a piece of property with over 50 acres where I hunt with my dog. I LOVE this breed. With a Vizsla in your life, it’s a continual adventure.
Stephanie Dell
Director
Stephanie has been a member of the VSO for three years and is the proud owner of a 10-year-old rescued female Vizsla named “Kai”. She is also owned by other dogs and two cats – a true animal lover! Throughout her adult life, Stephanie volunteered in numerous dog shelters in Nova Scotia and
Ontario. She became involved in rescue approximately 10 years ago, and is still actively involved, having personally rescued at least 12 dogs in Canada and the US. Stephanie currently works for a dog training company, Deena Speaks Dog as office and field manager and runs the operations for the owner, Deena Cooper. These responsibilities include interaction with clients, coordination of all office and canine schedules, managing Deena’s dog care consisting of over 30 dogs, and all other tasks related to office operations and client services. Her life partner, Shaz, has also been involved in rescue and dog training and behaviour for over 20 years. Stephanie makes her home in Toronto.
David Fansolato
Director
David became acquainted with the breed in 2006 with the introduction to his first Vizsla. His wife is also a VSO member and they are currently ruled by two Vizslas. David was recently introduced to the Conformation/Show ring and is having a great time showing their dogs. He has also volunteered at VSO field tests. He's an Industrial Electrician by trade but work mostly in Design/Innovation/Repair of Robotic and Industrial Automation. He and his wife currently moved out to a large property in the Niagara peninsula.
Gary Krammer
Director
Gary joined the VSO some 17 years ago after his wonderful “Vadasz” joined his family in 2003. Gary has participated in conformation, obedience, rally and field with his Vizslas in Canada and the US. He’ was a member of the North York Obedience Club for 15 years, as well as a trainer in their obedience classes and also served on their Board as Training Director, Treasurer, Trial Chair, and Training Secretary. While no longer on the NYOC Board, he is still on the training staff. In his past working life, Gary spent many years travelling the world in university and in various jobs, including at American Express in the US. He recently returned to York University for their certification program for Teaching English as a Second Language. Vadasz passed away in January 2019 at the age of grand age of 16 years, 6 months and 2 weeks but Gary is still owned by his 12-year old Vizsla “Quest” where they reside in North York.
